Last week we knocked out two fun events with very different vibes.
The first was a Baby Shower thrown by perhaps the coolest sister-in-law ever. Our main directive was to keep the color scheme in line with the color of the nursery: hot pink and black.
With that in our back pocket, I set off to create a fabulous sassy party for this gorgeous Mom-to-Be.
An amazing brunch catered by Tammy Shackelford at The Eventful Planner and four varieties of the most gorgeous (and delicious) cupcakes you have ever experienced were painstakingly created by Cheryl Petricollo.
For a little added (but never FORCED) fun, guests could participate in our ever-so-popular Celebrity Baby Game or create adorable one-of-a-kind onesies, bibs and burp cloths for the sweet Baby Girl.
I am currently having a love affair with big square guest tables, and I was so excited to discover that grouping four of the small bistro sized in-house tables created the perfect five-foot square! Adding a lounge area is always a hip look and also provides extra seating, in case you are unsure of all those absent RSVPs. We keep basic white slipcovered furniture in stock for our events but anything neutral with a few fun pillows will do.
Could she be a prettier Mama? Just glowing! It was such a lovely morning of food, friends and fun and that sweet baby is all set up for whenever she decides to make her appearance.

Stay tuned for more details and how-to’s from this event as well as the other party from last week: a 40th Birthday Party.
