Winter Wonderland Wedding

Earlier this winter, I had the privilege of working on one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever seen or been a part of.  The Bride was fantastic and her family was off the charts amazing.  Truly kind and sweet and lovely people.  She wanted a Winter Wonderland Wedding and left most of the details to our talented team so that she could be completely surprised when she and her awesome groom made their Grand Entrance into the reception.  They were thrilled with the end result and I was truly sad when the big night was over.

An elevated twelve foot ice luge bar was a big focal point and a huge hit.  Bartenders poured drinks through the ice and into shot glasses also made of ice!

The tents covered over 7,ooo square feet, which included a stunning dance floor created by completely covering the swimming pool with plexiglass.  It literally looked like the guests were dancing on ice.

The prep for this event was a labor intensive six day installation but worth every single second when it was all said and done!  I am always so touched and honored to have the permission to be such an integral part of this special time in the lives of the Brides, Grooms and their families I work with.  Not to mention the crazy talented people I have the opportunity to work along side and learn from.  What an amazing blessing and what an awesome job I have!!

I’m starting to plan my wedding and I am thinking a Winter wonderland theme. This is so gorgeous. Where did this wedding take place?

    Hi,
I’m from southern california. My friend is having her wedding reception at a family home. However she is thinking of putting plexiglass over the pool to make more room for a dance floor. Just wondering what the budget was for the plexi glass and how long it took to get it installed.

    Thank you,
    Kristine
